Organic Assembly app for iPhone and iPad

Connecting Young People With Culture.

Organic Assembly is an exciting events app for young people age 13 - 26 to become more actively involved in the artistic culture in Scotland. Organic Assembly promotes events exclusively from arts organisations and venues including Orchestral Music, Ballet, Opera, Theatre and the Visual Arts to build digital communities around organisations and events and build younger audiences.

Young people receive new events promotions each week based on their artistic preferences and also one wildcard promotion as something a bit different for them to try in an attempt to widen their artistic interests.

Points are stored from active use of the app and will be able to be exchanged for discounts later in 2017.

Organic Assembly has been created by Claire-Gillian Watt, a creative arts specialist based in Scotland. Claire is very passionate about breaking down barriers to engagement in the arts and is currently studying for her PhD with Birmingham City University, with the hope of influencing governmental music policies to include further information on the benefits of music on young peoples lives and ways to break down barriers to engagement in the arts on a wider scale.
